On the evening of March 26, a spectacular fashion show titled "Crown of Flowers, Cloud Attire, Setting Sail" captivated numerous travelers at Guangzhou's new landmark, the Baiyun Airport T3 terminal. The event, themed "Crown of Flowers," creatively integrated kapok elements and Lingnan cultural symbols, resonating with the city's cultural identity by blending Guangzhou's heroic spirit, the cultural heritage of the Greater Bay Area, and contemporary fashion aesthetics.

The performance commenced with a powerful group dance titled "Momentum Like a Rainbow" by the Greater Bay Area's top IP character, Big Bay Chicken, presented by the Guangzhou Acrobatic Art Theater. Following this, Big Bay Chicken charmed the audience with a lively runway walk in cute overalls, showcasing the vibrant energy of Guangzhou. An innovative Cantonese opera piece, "Kapok in Full Bloom," led by Chinese "Plum Blossom Award" winner Wu Feifan, infused traditional opera with a modern twist.

Simultaneously, the event served as a platform to highlight the robust capabilities of Guangzhou's garment industry. A custom brand by Chinese "Golden Top Award" designer Deng Zhaoping presented a themed fashion show, "Lingnan Blossoms: A Prelude to Splendor," drawing inspiration from the floral crown motif and incorporating kapok-themed apparel, which blended Lingnan floral imagery into high-end custom designs. Furthermore, Guangzhou Baima Garment Market, a leading trade platform under Yuexiu Commercial Management, leveraged its mature industrial resources and brand incubation capabilities. It assembled four original brands—Qi Yong, Design Valley, Xian Ying, and FFDIKADI—and collaborated with premium luggage brands such as Zhonggang Leather City's En Ai and Shangren Shangpin to present a fashion show displaying the latest creations from local high-quality apparel enterprises.

It is reported that Guangzhou's garment industry boasts an annual output value exceeding one hundred billion yuan, accounting for 16.8% of the national annual clothing production. With a complete industrial chain and strong design and R&D capabilities, the industry is rapidly advancing towards high-end, branded, and international development. By showcasing premium Guangzhou products from the fashion industry at the significant platform of Baiyun Airport, this event allowed local brands to engage directly with global travelers, facilitating the expansion of "Guangzhou Goods" from domestic markets to the international stage.

As a flagship fashion event within Guangzhou's "Heroic Flowers Bloom in a Heroic City" series, the show was jointly organized by Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Cultural Development Group Co., Ltd., and the Guangzhou Fashion Designers Association, with guidance and support from multiple departments. The event reached over 50,000 air travelers at Guangzhou Baiyun Airport that day, serving as an important window for Guangzhou to display its commercial vitality and fashion heritage to the world.

Functioning as a crucial gateway for "Guangzhou Goods Going Global," Guangzhou Baiyun Airport facilitated the transport of over 83 million passengers and more than 2.4 million tons of cargo in 2025, establishing itself as a super hub for the Greater Bay Area's global connectivity. The T3 terminal, officially operational from October 30, 2025, not only injects strong momentum into regional development but also enriches its high-quality development ethos of "meeting people's aspirations for better travel" through public art initiatives and the construction of a cultural airport. Its viewing platform, Bay Area Square, and public art installations attract over ten thousand visitors daily.
