On September 9th, Professor Li Yang from Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business stated at the Fifth Wuliangye Manor Member Festival that product homogenization is becoming increasingly serious, and whoever controls the initiative in topic creation may have more market dominance.

He said that XIAOMI-W is very skilled at generating topics. "You can see in Lei Jun's three-hour presentation that it's not just about creating topics - he must create topics that appeal to women," Li Yang noted.

Professor Li Yang explained that if a topic can gain momentum among women, the topic's dissemination often has greater impact. "Take XIAOMI-W SU7's sun protection feature as an example," Li Yang said. "Whether it actually provides sun protection from a technical standpoint is secondary, but just because of this sun protection concept, it immediately became a trending topic."
