IMOTIONTECH (01274) has announced that, compared to a pre-tax loss of approximately 288 million yuan for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2024, the group expects to report a pre-tax loss of about 415 million yuan for the 2025 fiscal year. This represents an increase of approximately 44%.

The board of directors attributes the larger pre-tax loss in the 2025 fiscal year primarily to the combined effect of the following factors: the company further increased its investment in the research and development of self-developed new products and autonomous driving technologies, as well as in high-end autonomous driving algorithm talent, leading to a rise in R&D expenses for the 2025 fiscal year compared to the previous year. Additionally, influenced by market pricing strategies and product mix adjustments, the company's revenue from sales of its autonomous driving domain controller product, SupervisionTM, declined. This resulted in a decrease in the company's gross profit for the 2025 fiscal year compared to the 2024 fiscal year.
