Greentech I-New (00195) has announced that the board of directors is providing an update on the Renison Tailings Retreatment Project, part of the Renison Tin Operation. The company holds a 50% interest in this project through its indirect non-wholly-owned subsidiary, YT Parksong Australia Holding Pty Ltd ("YTPAH"). The Renison operation is managed by Bluestone Mines Tasmania Joint Venture Pty Ltd ("BMTJV"). Metals X Limited ("Metals X"), an Australian publicly listed company on the ASX, holds the remaining 50% stake in Renison through its 50% ownership of BMTJV. This update is based on information provided by Metals X. BMTJV is currently reviewing and updating a previous Definitive Feasibility Study and is advancing environmental permitting to facilitate an investment decision regarding the tailings. BMTJV has awarded the Front-End Engineering and Design ("FEED") package for the tailings processing plant to GR Engineering Services Limited. The scope of work includes the FEED for a new tailings retreatment facility with an annual processing capacity of 2.4 million tonnes, along with the provision of a lump-sum turnkey quote for the project's construction phase. The processing plant FEED package is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2026, with BMTJV anticipating a Final Investment Decision by the end of 2026.
