MINIEYE (02431) made its inaugural appearance at IAA MOBILITY 2025, which officially opened in Munich on September 8. The German International Motor Show & Mobility Expo, established in 1879, ranks among the world's top five automotive exhibitions and stands as Europe's largest international automotive event, having continuously witnessed and driven global automotive and mobility transformations for over a century.

At this global mobility showcase, MINIEYE not only unveiled its groundbreaking new-generation cabin large model intelligent assistant BamBam and showcased its comprehensive product portfolio covering autonomous driving and smart cabin technologies, but also took a crucial step toward comprehensive overseas expansion, using Europe as a starting point to demonstrate the formidable capabilities of Chinese autonomous driving companies worldwide.

**Human-Centric Cabin Interaction Reconstruction: Creating a More "Understanding" Intelligent Assistant**

Leveraging extensive mass production data accumulated over years and deep technical expertise, MINIEYE presented its new-generation cabin large model product system for the first time at the expo. Targeting greater practicality and humanization, MINIEYE has established four major technical frameworks including "edge-cloud integration" for its cabin intelligent assistant BamBam, breaking through the limitations of traditional cabin fixed rule execution and delivering revolutionary breakthroughs in smart cabin experiences.

MINIEYE Vice President Yang Yihong was invited to participate in the Eurasian Automotive Innovation Forum held in Munich, delivering a keynote speech titled "Human-Centered Smart Cabins: Building Trust and Safety Through AI Interaction" during the exhibition, providing detailed insights into MINIEYE's unique technical philosophy and approach.

**"Large Model + Small Model" Achieving Efficiency Balance:** Small models offer fast response and low resource consumption, specializing in specific standardized functional scenarios such as fatigue detection. Large models possess human-like thinking and decision-making capabilities, semantic understanding, and reasoning abilities, supporting complex scenario decisions and customized interactions.

**"Cloud + Edge" Balancing Personalization and Fluidity:** Edge processing handles users' personal data such as seat adjustments and music preferences locally, avoiding privacy leakage risks while ensuring smooth real-time response experiences. The cloud provides stronger performance support for complex functions through greater computing power, while leveraging networking advantages to integrate massive information resources for richer and more diverse services, such as optimizing commute routes by combining real-time traffic and weather data.

**"EQ + IQ" Breaking Industry Conventions:** While many current large models possess strong IQ capabilities, they lack emotional perception and empathy toward humans, making it difficult to provide emotionally appropriate feedback. MINIEYE focuses on affective computing, enabling BamBam to possess "emotion-reading" EQ, such as selecting "enthusiastic companionship" or "concise response" modes based on user personality.

**"Single Vehicle + Multi-Vehicle" Breaking Down Demand Barriers:** While focusing on individual consumer habits, MINIEYE also analyzes aggregated multi-vehicle data to uncover common needs among user groups.

Yang Yihong stated: "Past cabin AI was limited by single scenarios and isolated functions. BamBam combines large and small models to achieve a leap from perceptual intelligence to cognitive intelligence, allowing cabin AI to transcend its tool attributes and become an intelligent assistant that observes, thinks, and accompanies, redefining the warmth of 'human-vehicle symbiosis.' The future of cabin AI is not more complex functions, but more human-understanding intelligence. BamBam centers on users, delivering more trustworthy, safer, and more understanding immersive cabin experiences."

In terms of functional implementation, BamBam focuses on three core scenarios: "Travel Companion," "Life Assistant," and "Emotional Care," converting technical capabilities into user-perceivable experiences. In the "Travel Companion" scenario, it can coordinate with autonomous driving systems to plan routes, introduce attractions, and automatically generate travel vlogs. In the "Life Assistant" scenario, it supports automatic trunk opening and closing, schedule reminders, and automatic parking fee payments. "Emotional Care" identifies emotions and provides timely emotional comfort, proactively pushing soothing content or adjusting cabin atmosphere, truly achieving increasingly "understanding" experiences.

Through these four technical pathways and three scenario implementations, BamBam provides users with personalized, proactive services, enabling smart cabins to evolve from "functional tools" to "intelligent companions."

**Full-Stack Product Portfolio Debut: Precisely Responding to E-NCAP26 Regulation Requirements**

Beyond BamBam, MINIEYE's full-stack product portfolio also attracted significant attention, including the iPilot 4 series assisted driving domain controllers and DMS integrated machine iCabin Lite, covering scenarios from assisted driving to advanced autonomous driving and cabin applications. All products are developed with compliance and practicality as core research and development orientations, providing available, practical, and user-friendly solutions for global customers.

In today's increasingly stringent automotive safety regulations, MINIEYE closely monitors overseas regulatory developments. After the European New Car Assessment Programme (EuroNCAP) released the E-NCAP2026 evaluation protocol in March this year, the company responded quickly with targeted deployment and launched DMS&OMS solutions meeting new regulation requirements at this expo.

In driver monitoring, the solution supports the latest AOI (Area of Interest) gaze tracking functionality, precisely capturing where drivers look and how long they focus, quickly determining whether attention is focused on road conditions, and intelligently distinguishing between long-term and short-term distraction behaviors.

In occupant monitoring, MINIEYE's solution accurately detects passenger occupancy, posture, seatbelt wearing, presence of children and child seats in the vehicle, and whether children exhibit dangerous behaviors (such as extending hands outside the cabin), comprehensively protecting every passenger's travel safety.

Among these, newly added key functions such as "body type classification" can precisely identify occupants' physiques, categorizing different body types. When vehicle safety systems activate during collisions, they can dynamically adjust airbag deployment force based on occupant body type, enhancing protection effectiveness for different occupants.

Notably, MINIEYE demonstrated these E-NCAP26 version new functions through live demonstrations, intuitively showing global users the high compatibility with new regulatory requirements and technical capabilities, earning recognition from overseas customers at the venue.

**Using Europe as Starting Point: Advancing Toward Comprehensive Overseas Expansion**

Facing the global wave of automotive intelligence overseas expansion, MINIEYE adopts "regulation-first" as its strategic anchor, gradually forming core advantages in overseas regulatory adaptation through deep technical expertise and forward-looking deployment.

MINIEYE is among China's first batch of DMS solution providers helping automakers obtain EU General Safety Regulation ADDW and DDAW certifications, and the first Chinese smart cabin solution provider helping Chinese automakers achieve E-NCAP five-star ratings.

As of the first half of this year, MINIEYE has cumulatively established mass production partnerships with 42 automotive companies. Strong technical competitiveness, high flexibility, and adaptability provide solid foundations for the company's expansion into European and other overseas markets.

At this expo, MINIEYE's exhibited smart cabin DMS software-hardware integrated products iCabin 1 series and assisted driving forward-facing integrated machine iSafety 3 and other mass production products have been installed in multiple export vehicle models sold overseas, including the EU, Australia, Mexico, Singapore, South Korea, Dubai, Turkey, and other regions. Through deep cooperation with international Tier 1 suppliers, the company has successfully entered international OEM supply chain systems.

Germany is the birthplace of modern automotive industry. This debut not only showcases MINIEYE's deep expertise and forward-looking vision in intelligent assisted driving and smart cabin fields, but also conveys the company's determination to accelerate global layout. MINIEYE will use IAA MOBILITY as a stage to further expand overseas cooperation networks, entering a new phase of full-chain overseas expansion.

In the future, leveraging deep overseas cooperation experience, clear market planning, and comprehensive localization deployment, MINIEYE is positioned to occupy a more important position in the global automotive intelligence upgrade wave, bringing safer and more intelligent travel experiences to global users. Additionally, the company will continue promoting AI large model technology implementation, working with global automakers to unlock infinite possibilities for intelligent vehicles.
