Kuaishou Confirms Company Secretary’s Full Qualification; Announces 2026 Management Transition

Kuaishou Technology has received confirmation from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange that current joint company secretary Matthew Huaxia Zhao meets all requirements under Listing Rules 3.28 and 8.17. The confirmation supersedes the prior three-year waiver granted in February 2023 and removes the need for any further exemption after the original waiver expiry on 19 February 2026.

Despite Zhao’s full qualification, Kuaishou will retain its dual company-secretary structure to uphold corporate-governance standards.

Management succession is also scheduled: • Joint company secretary and authorised representative So Ka Man will resign effective 25 March 2026. • Yip Hoi Lam, currently a manager of company-secretarial services at Tricor Services Limited, will assume both roles on the same date. Yip is a Chartered Secretary, Chartered Governance Professional and holds a master’s degree in Corporate Governance from Hong Kong Metropolitan University (2021).

The board, chaired by Cheng Yixiao, expressed appreciation for So’s contributions and welcomed Yip’s upcoming appointment.
