Tingyi Reports 2025 Financial Results with 20.5% Profit Growth

Tingyi (00322) has announced its financial results for the year 2025. The company recorded total revenue of approximately 79.068 billion yuan, representing a decrease of 2% compared to the previous year. However, profit attributable to shareholders amounted to about 4.5 billion yuan, marking a significant increase of 20.5% year-on-year. Basic earnings per share stood at 79.86 cents. The board has proposed a final dividend of 39.92 cents per share, along with a special final dividend of 39.92 cents per share.

Throughout 2025, the company's instant noodle business generated revenue of 28.421 billion yuan, showing a slight increase compared to the previous year. This segment accounted for 35.9% of the group's total revenue. Favorable raw material prices and selling prices contributed to a 1.1 percentage point improvement in the gross profit margin for instant noodles, which reached 29.7%. The enhanced gross margin drove the profit attributable to shareholders for the instant noodle business to 2.252 billion yuan, reflecting a substantial year-on-year growth of 10.1%.

The beverage business reported total revenue of 50.123 billion yuan for 2025, accounting for 63.4% of the group's total revenue. Benefiting from favorable raw material prices and product mix optimization, the gross profit margin for the beverage segment increased by 2.2 percentage points to 37.5%. This improvement in gross margin resulted in the profit attributable to shareholders for the beverage business rising significantly by 18.5% to 2.274 billion yuan.
