CHINA EAST AIR (00670) announced that in March 2026, the company's passenger capacity input, measured by available seat kilometers, increased by 10.63% compared to the same period last year. Passenger traffic, measured by revenue passenger kilometers, rose by 16.56% year-on-year. The passenger load factor reached 88.67%, an increase of 4.51 percentage points from the previous year.

In March 2026, cargo and mail traffic, measured by cargo and mail ton kilometers, saw a year-on-year increase of 9.87%.

During March 2026, the company launched new routes, resumed services, and increased flight frequency in both domestic and international regional markets. Key developments in the domestic market included: new routes such as Shanghai Hongqiao-Korla, Shanghai Pudong-Meixian, Beijing Daxing-Daqing, Beijing Daxing-Tacheng, Beijing Daxing-Taizhou Huangyan, Shijiazhuang-Jieyang Chaoshan, and Ningbo-Guilin; resumed services on routes including Shanghai Pudong-Hailar; and increased frequency on routes such as Shanghai Pudong-Chengdu Shuangliu, Shanghai Pudong-Qinhuangdao Beidaihe, Shanghai Pudong-Beihai, Beijing Daxing-Kunming, Kunming-Hangzhou, and Lhasa-Xi'an.

In the international and regional market, new routes were launched, including Beijing Daxing-Wuhan-Sydney and Wenzhou-Vientiane.

The company did not introduce or retire any aircraft during March 2026. As of the end of March 2026, the company's fleet consisted of 823 aircraft in total operation.
