Teradyne on Tuesday forecast fourth-quarter revenue above Wall Street expectations, banking on robust demand for its chip-testing equipment, and named a new chief financial officer. Shares of the company surged more than 22% in overnight trading, after it also surpassed estimates for third-quarter revenue.

Joby Aviation shares spiked 8% in overnight trading. Nvidia selected Joby as its only aviation launch partner for the new Nvidia IGX Thor platform, which is designed to power the next generation of physical AI applications. 

Seagate Technology forecast second-quarter revenue and profit above analysts' estimates on Tuesday, betting on robust demand for its storage devices as cloud providers expand investments in hardware to support generative AI development. Shares of the company rose over 4.8% in overnight trading.

Nokia rose more than 3% in overnight trading. Nvidia plans to make a $1 billion equity investment in Nokia Oyj, an apparent vindication of the Finnish company’s pivot from mobile networking kit into artificial intelligence by the sector’s kingmaker.
