OCT (ASIA) (03366) has announced an expected net loss attributable to the company's equity holders for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2025. The projected loss is no more than RMB 1.8 billion. This represents a significant increase compared to the net loss of approximately RMB 170 million reported for the year ended December 31, 2024. The primary reasons for the expanded loss include the following factors: (i) The previous year's results included a one-time investment gain from the disposal of equity in a comprehensive development project, while no similar transaction with a comparable impact occurred in 2025; (ii) As part of efforts to enhance the company's liquidity and optimize resource allocation, management adjusted operational and sales strategies in response to market conditions. Consequently, impairment losses were recognized on inventory and construction in progress for certain comprehensive development projects, and investment losses alongside impairment charges were recorded for certain joint ventures and associates.
