ICBC Temporarily Suspends Applications for Certain Ruyi Gold Accumulation Services

On November 3, ICBC announced that due to macroeconomic policy adjustments and internal risk management requirements, the bank will suspend applications for new Ruyi Gold Accumulation accounts, active accumulations, new periodic accumulation plans, and physical gold withdrawals starting November 3, 2025. Existing clients with valid periodic accumulation plans can continue executing their contracts, redeeming, or closing accounts without interruption. Further updates regarding service resumption will be communicated via official notices.
