MINTH GROUP Plans Joint Venture for Aluminum Vehicle Frame Components Production

MINTH GROUP (00425) has announced an agreement with Aisin Corporation and Toyota Tsusho Corporation to establish a joint venture for manufacturing aluminum body frame components. The joint venture, expected to be named ATM Automotive, aims to strengthen the supply system for automotive aluminum body frame parts in the North American market. ATM Automotive's ownership structure is planned with MINTH Canada, Aisin Corporation, and Toyota Tsusho holding 40%, 40%, and 20% stakes respectively. The board of ATM Automotive will consist of five directors, with MINTH Canada and Aisin Corporation each nominating two directors, and Toyota Tsusho nominating one director. The joint venture's Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Financial Officer will be nominated by Toyota Tsusho, MINTH Canada, and Aisin Corporation respectively. The partnership with Aisin Corporation and Toyota Tsusho will focus on producing aluminum body frame components in North America. Over the years, all parties have continuously advanced their respective aluminum forming technologies and have supplied related products globally. With the development of electrification and lightweight technologies, market demand for aluminum body frame components is expected to grow steadily. Therefore, establishing this joint venture with Aisin Corporation and Toyota Tsusho holds significant importance for meeting market and customer expectations while ensuring sustainable product supply.
