Reports indicate that Kong Yanshuang, former General Manager of Tesla China, has joined Xiaomi Group-W and is set to take over automotive sales responsibilities, succeeding former Xiaomi Auto Director Li Xiaorui. As of the time of writing, Xiaomi has not issued an official response to the matter.

According to available information, Kong Yanshuang previously held positions including General Manager of Tesla's South China region and General Manager of Tesla China, where she played a long-term leading role in shaping Tesla's sales structure and brand promotion efforts within the Chinese market.

This development comes at a critical period for Xiaomi as it ramps up vehicle deliveries. In March of this year, Xiaomi launched its new-generation SU7 model, with a starting price of 219,900 yuan. Data released by Xiaomi Auto today shows that the company delivered over 20,000 vehicles in March. Since deliveries of the new SU7 began on March 23, cumulative deliveries have already exceeded 7,000 units.
