CHINA COAL (01898) disclosed its June 2025 operational results, revealing a 4.9% year-on-year contraction in commercial coal production to 11.04 million tons. Sales volume during the same month registered at 21.65 million tons, reflecting an 11.2% decrease compared to June 2024.
For the cumulative January-June period, the energy producer achieved commercial coal output of 67.34 million tons, marking a modest 1.3% increase over the corresponding period last year. However, the company experienced a 3.6% year-on-year reduction in commercial coal sales volume, which totaled approximately 129 million tons during the first six months of 2025.
These figures demonstrate divergent trends between production growth and sales performance across the reporting periods, with the half-year sales volume contraction contrasting against the marginal production expansion observed in the same timeframe.
