The 2025 Shanghai Stock Exchange International Investor Conference was held on November 12 in Shanghai. Centered on the theme "Value Leadership, Open Empowerment—New Opportunities in International Capital Investment and M&A," this marks the seventh consecutive year of the event. The conference serves as a platform for global institutional investors to engage with domestic regulators, exchanges, listed companies, and financial institutions, fostering deeper integration between international capital and China's capital markets.

Li Zhenyu, Vice President and Party Committee Member of EB SECURITIES, highlighted in an interview that the conference aligns with the development priorities outlined in China's 15th Five-Year Plan. He emphasized that green technology and innovation-driven sectors will emerge as key areas for future investment and M&A.

Li noted that China has largely achieved modernization and must now pivot toward a tech-driven, green growth model. He expressed hope that the event would facilitate collaboration between domestic and international investors in green technology and industrial upgrading.

He pointed out that regions such as the Yangtze River Delta, Greater Bay Area, and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei are becoming critical hubs for technological innovation and industrial deployment. These areas present vast opportunities for global capital and domestic investment banks, urging stakeholders to embrace new ideas and capitalize on China's growth trajectory.
