The first wind turbine installation has been completed at the China Power Construction Corporation's Daxinganling Shibazhan 50MW wind power project. The wind rotor was precisely positioned atop a 140-meter tower, marking the project's full transition into the wind turbine installation phase and laying a solid foundation for grid connection and power generation, while injecting new momentum into green development in the northern frontier region.
The China Power Construction Daxinganling Shibazhan wind power project is being invested and developed by China Power Construction New Energy Group Co., Ltd. This represents the new energy industry project currently being built under China's highest latitude, most severe climate, and most stringent equipment requirements, providing reference and support for the ecological value transformation of the Daxinganling forest region.
The project consists of two phases: Phase 1 with 50MW capacity and Phase 2 with 150MW capacity, with total approved investment of 1.45 billion yuan.
As China's northernmost wind power project, the substation construction has been fully completed, equipment installation work has commenced, and the power collection lines, tower installation for 4 wind turbine units, and installation of 1 wind turbine have all been completed.
Upon completion, the project is expected to save 178,000 tons of standard coal annually and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 431,000 tons, delivering significant ecological benefits. After the project becomes operational, it is projected to generate annual output value of 130 million yuan, which will strongly promote the development of clean energy industry in Daxinganling Tahe County.
