According to a 13F filing submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Soros Fund Management, the investment firm led by George Soros, disclosed its Q3 2025 portfolio holdings as of September 30. The fund's total holdings were valued at $7.02 billion, down 13% from $7.97 billion in the previous quarter.
During Q3, the fund added 77 new stocks and increased positions in 44 stocks. It also reduced holdings in 45 stocks and liquidated 95 positions. The top 10 holdings accounted for 31.16% of the total portfolio value.
Amazon (AMZN.US) emerged as the top holding, with approximately 2.226 million shares valued at $489 million, representing 6.96% of the portfolio. The position surged 481.47% quarter-over-quarter. Smurfit WestRock (SW.US) ranked second, with 7.747 million shares worth $330 million (4.70% of the portfolio), up 3.56% from the prior quarter. Spotify (SPOT.US) notes took the third spot, holding 185 million shares valued at $253 million (3.61% of the portfolio), a 29.68% increase. Globant (GLOB.US) notes followed in fourth place, with 234 million shares worth $215 million (3.06% of the portfolio), up 17.08%. Alphabet (GOOGL.US) rounded out the top five, with 658,000 shares worth $160 million (2.28% of the portfolio), soaring 2,341.11% from the previous quarter.
Notably, Soros Fund Management initiated new positions in Disney (DIS.US), Electronic Arts (EA.US), and DuPont (DD.US), while increasing stakes in Nvidia (NVDA.US), Apple (AAPL.US), Salesforce (CRM.US), and Microsoft (MSFT.US). The fund trimmed holdings in Snowflake (SNOW.US), Circle (CRCL.US), and Uber (UBER.US), and fully exited SanDisk (SNDK.US), Western Digital (WDC.US), Tesla (TSLA.US)'s remaining 3,209 shares, and CoreWeave (CRWV.US).
The top five buys were Amazon, Rydex S&P Equal Weight ETF (RSP.US), Alphabet, Forward Industries (FORD.US) notes, and VanEck Semiconductor ETF put options (SMH.US, PUT). The top five sells included First Solar call options (FSLR.US, CALL), iShares Russell 2000 ETF put options (IWM.US, PUT), Invesco QQQ Trust call options (QQQ.US, CALL), SPDR S&P 500 ETF put options (SPY.US, PUT), and Liberty Broadband-C (LBRDK.US).
