According to Credit Suisse's research report, based on information from NVIDIA (NVDA), BYD ELECTRONIC (00285) is set to become the supplier of power components for NVIDIA's new 800VDCAI server architecture. This positions BYD ELECTRONIC as a potential comprehensive AI server solution provider within NVIDIA's AI server systems. Additionally, Apple (AAPL) is collaborating with BYD ELECTRONIC on the upcoming launch of desktop robots and home hubs, which are expected to drive new business growth for BYD ELECTRONIC. Credit Suisse has reiterated its "Outperform" rating for BYD ELECTRONIC with a target price of HKD 52.9.

As detailed in NVIDIA's blog, the company, along with its partners, is advancing the construction of the next-generation high-performance gigawatt-level AI factory to support the Vera Rubin project. NVIDIA has introduced the new 800VDCAI server architecture, expected to launch by 2027. The blog lists Lead Wealth, a wholly-owned subsidiary of BYD ELECTRONIC, as a “power system components supplier.” Credit Suisse noted that BYD ELECTRONIC’s liquid cooling products, including quick connectors, cold plates, and manifolds, received NVIDIA certification in March 2025 for use with NVIDIA's GB200/300NVL72 systems. BYD ELECTRONIC aims to begin shipments to overseas clients in the second half of 2025.

In the long term, becoming a supplier of power system components will allow BYD ELECTRONIC to develop into a comprehensive AI server solution provider within NVIDIA systems and other AI server infrastructures. Furthermore, reports indicate that Apple plans to manufacture its desktop robots and home hubs in Vietnam. The reports mention that Apple is developing a desktop robot with a display in collaboration with BYD. Apple intends to launch this home hub in the spring of 2026. They are also planning to produce a desktop robot, similar in appearance to the home hub display but mounted on an electric stand to allow screen movement within users' work areas or kitchens. Credit Suisse notes that BYD ELECTRONIC has long-standing expertise in manufacturing smart IoT devices and various robots, maintaining a strong partnership with Apple. They believe that this home hub and robot business will serve as new growth drivers for BYD ELECTRONIC.
