Comtec Solar (00712) announced its interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2025. The group achieved revenue of HK$148 million, representing a 71% year-on-year increase. Loss attributable to owners of the company was HK$22.8 million, down 9.7% compared to the same period last year. Loss per share was 2.15 cents.

According to the announcement, solar and energy storage revenue increased by approximately HK$86.4 million or 695.5% from approximately HK$12.4 million in the same period of 2024 to approximately HK$98.8 million during the period. This was primarily due to positive results from the group's subsidiaries successfully securing new EPC projects from major energy storage companies.

Benefiting from the group's successful investment in flywheel energy storage systems in Yongji City, Shanxi Province, China, the group has obtained new EPC service contracts for similar flywheel energy storage and lithium iron phosphate energy storage systems located in Shilou County, Lüliang City, Shanxi Province, China.

Logistics services revenue decreased by 33.4% from approximately HK$74.3 million in the same period of 2024 to approximately HK$49.5 million during the period, mainly due to contract terminations by two clients in the first half of 2025.
