Mercedes-Benz's Ola Källenius Highlights Deep Collaborative Ties in China, Partners with ByteDance, Tencent, and Alibaba

At the China Development Forum 2026 Annual Meeting held from March 22 to March 23 at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing, Ola Källenius, Chairman of the Board of Management of Mercedes-Benz Group AG, emphasized the company's extensive and deeply rooted partnerships in China. He noted that by leveraging the highly dynamic ecosystem in China, Mercedes-Benz has not only established collaborations with internet giants such as ByteDance, Tencent, and Alibaba but has also maintained a partnership with Momenta, an early-stage startup the company identified and invested in locally. This relationship is considered vital for the advancement of its autonomous driving business.

Källenius further stated that Mercedes-Benz has built a broad network of collaborations in China, encompassing both large technology corporations and emerging small to medium-sized innovative firms that are gaining a solid foothold in the market. These partnerships are playing a significant role in driving the company's products toward the future.

In addition, Källenius revealed plans to launch more highly anticipated new vehicle models in the near term.
