Yu Fei, former General Manager of Dongfeng Yipai's Marketing Division, announced his resignation via Weibo on July 22 this year. Over three and a half months later, his Weibo account remains inactive, and no information about his new position has surfaced online, drawing public attention.

A young executive born in 1985, Yu Fei graduated from Wuhan University of Technology in 2009 and began his career in the automotive industry. However, he did not join Dongfeng immediately after graduation, having built a diverse professional background.

Yu started his career at Jiangling Motors, where he served as Regional Sales Manager and Pickup Brand Manager. In May 2019, he moved to Great Wall Motor Company Limited (长城汽车), holding key roles including Product Planning Director, Deputy General Manager of Ora Brand, Marketing General Manager of Ora, and General Manager of Wey Brand, accumulating extensive experience in automotive marketing.

Yu joined Dongfeng in July 2022 as Deputy General Manager of Voyah Auto and General Manager of its Sales Company but left after just 10 months. In September 2023, he took over as General Manager of Dongfeng Yipai's Marketing Division.

Signs of his departure were evident before his resignation. His Weibo updates had halted two months prior, a stark contrast to his previous activity. Additionally, on June 26 this year, Dongfeng Motor announced the establishment of Yipai Auto Technology, integrating three passenger car brands—Dongfeng Fengshen, Dongfeng Yipai, and Dongfeng Nano. Notably, Yu Fei was absent from the new company's leadership list despite his role at Yipai.

Nearly three and a half months after his resignation, Yu’s Weibo remains inactive, with no reports on his current employment. At 40, he remains at a career-building age, and his next move continues to draw interest.
