On September 16, 2026, PAG-P Asia Fund L.P. acquired 97.50 million shares of CIFI HOLD GP (00884) by way of taking a security interest in shares, at an average of USD 1.75 per share, involving about USD 170.62 million. The transaction was an off-exchange security interest arrangement, not matched on the SEHK open market.
Prior to the acquisition, PAG-P Asia Fund L.P.'s long position in CIFI HOLD GP was 1.27 billion shares, representing 6.54%; following the acquisition, the holding changed to 1.37 billion shares, with the long position ratio rising to 7.04%.
