Premarket Movers | Rumble Soars 14%; Rare Earth Stocks Rise, USAR up 9%; Quantum Shares Rally, QBTS up Nearly 4%; Applied Materials Falls 3%

US rare earth stocks rose in premarket trading. USA Rare Earth Inc. up nearly 9%; American Resources up 2%.

Quantum computing shares rallied in premarket trading. D-Wave Quantum Inc. up nearly 4%; Rigetti Computing, Quantum Computing Inc. up around 3%; Quantum Corp up nearly 2%.

Chip equipment maker Applied Materials forecast a $600 million hit to fiscal 2026 revenue after the U.S. expanded its restricted export list in a blow to sectors such as semiconductors, aircraft and medical equipment.

Shares of Applied Materials fell about 3% in premarket trading after the company said in a filing the new rule would make it more difficult to export some products and supply specific parts and services to select China-based customers without a license.

Rumble Inc. rose about 14% in premarket trading after Rumble on Thursday said it struck a partnership with AI answer engine company Perplexity to, among other things, integrate AI-powered tools and drive more discoverability on the video platform.

As part of the tie-up, the companies are introducing a new subscription bundle by combining their premium plans, and Perplexity’s new product Comet will be promoted across the Rumble ecosystem, including the Rumble Advertising Center.
