On the news front, Tencent released its second-quarter earnings results. Huatai Securities noted that Tencent's gaming revenue accelerated in the second quarter, with "Delta Force" establishing itself as a leading evergreen game. The firm expects Delta Force's dual-platform annual revenue to potentially reach 10-13 billion yuan by 2026.
According to public information, "Delta Force" is a tactical shooting game jointly developed by Tencent's TiMi Studio Group's Linlang Tianshang team and IDREAMSKY, with exclusive distribution by Tencent.
Additionally, on July 29, IDREAMSKY announced signing a capitalization agreement with PLR Worldwide Sales Limited, a subsidiary of European casual gaming giant Playrix. The latter will subscribe to approximately 38.08 million shares of IDREAMSKY at HK$1.024 per share, representing a total investment of HK$39 million. Upon completion of the transaction, Playrix will hold approximately 2.11% of IDREAMSKY's shares.
Market observers suggest that the company's acceptance of Playrix's investment may be laying groundwork for the overseas distribution of "Kalpa of Universe."
