New Silkroad Issues Profit Warning, Anticipates Widening Net Loss Attributable to Shareholders for 2025

New Silkroad (00472) has announced that for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2025, the group expects to report an increased net loss attributable to the company's owners. The projected loss is estimated to be between approximately HK$310 million and HK$350 million. This compares to a net loss of about HK$228 million for the same period in 2024. The primary reasons cited for the larger loss are (i) goodwill impairment and (ii) impairment of property, plant, and equipment. The company clarified that these impairment losses are non-cash items and are not expected to adversely affect the group's operating cash flow or business operations.
