Meituan announced today via its official rider Weibo account the launch of its Rider Care Program. The company stated that when unfair incidents occur, Meituan will not only speak up for riders but also take concrete actions to protect them. For verified cases deemed "not the rider's responsibility," the platform will provide compensation of up to 50,000 yuan, along with legal assistance from the platform.
