KELFRED (01134) announced its financial results for 2025, posting revenue of approximately HK$500 million, a year-on-year increase of 10.29%. The loss attributable to company owners was HK$15.119 million, narrowing by 30.11% compared to the previous year. The loss per share was 3.02 HK cents.
According to the announcement, the revenue growth was primarily driven by an overall increase in export sales of spectacle frames and sunglasses due to higher sales orders, though this was partially offset by a decline in the average selling price of eyewear products. The reduction in loss was mainly due to improved gross profit from increased sales orders in 2025 and the implementation of cost-saving measures. However, these gains were partly negated by exchange losses resulting from the appreciation of the Renminbi against the Hong Kong dollar during 2024.
