One hundred frontline industrial workers and technical backbone personnel from across the province's industrial and agricultural sectors gathered for concentrated training, marking the full launch of systematic AI skills training for industrial workers in Gansu's agricultural and industrial fields.
This special training is an important measure for Gansu Province to deepen the reform of industrial worker team construction and cultivate digitally skilled industrial workers. The training courses are closely aligned with the actual development of Gansu's characteristic industries, precisely addressing the pain point of "skills anxiety" among industrial workers in the industrial and agricultural sectors as they undergo digital transformation.
The training runs from September to October, innovatively adopting a dual-track teaching model of "online popularization plus offline practical training" to comprehensively and multi-dimensionally enhance the digital skill levels of industrial workers and cultivate digital skilled talent suited to the province's industrial development at scale.
Online teaching relies on the "Longgonghui" and "Workers' Home" apps to build dedicated learning zones, offering two major course sections — smart agriculture and digital industry — and freely opening learning resources to frontline workers across the province's industrial and agricultural supply chains. According to the training requirements, after completing no fewer than 4 class hours of online courses and passing the online assessment, trainees can apply for the nationally unified "AI Plus Learning Initiative Completion Certificate." The online completion target for this training is no fewer than 10,000 person-times, achieving effective coverage of AI knowledge popularization for frontline workers across the province.
Offline practical training focuses precisely on improving hands-on capabilities, conducted in two specializations — smart agriculture and digital industry — each with 2 training sessions, each lasting 1 to 2 days, using small-class immersive teaching to guarantee training quality and learning outcomes. After passing the offline assessment, trainees can obtain an "AI Plus Gansu Characteristic Industry" special completion certificate, and can also apply for AI-related vocational skill level certificates based on their training results, effectively opening up a growth pathway from skill improvement to certificate recognition.
