Deerma's Meng Jia: Memory Chip Price Increases Are Inevitable, Cost Mitigation Through Other Means

In a dialogue with media today, Meng Jia, Global President of the Floor Care Business Unit at Deerma Technology, addressed the challenge of cyclical fluctuations in material costs.

Meng Jia outlined a two-step strategy for tackling this issue. "First, we strive to establish long-term planning with original manufacturers rather than making monthly purchases, which helps in reducing costs," she explained. "Second, the rise in memory chip prices is indeed unavoidable. However, we will work to lower expenses in other components and projects. Simultaneously, our modular designs offer versatility and can be applied to address issues in certain projects. Overall, the increase in material costs does have an impact, but we will also employ other methods to hedge against these costs."
