CoinGecko Executive Team Update, CEO TM Lee to Transition to President

Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer Bobby Ong has been appointed Chief Executive Officer, succeeding co-founder and former CEO TM Lee, who will transition to the role of President starting on August 18th.

During his 11-year tenure as Chief Operating Officer, Ong played a key role in shaping CoinGecko's business strategy, expanding its global presence, and enhancing its worldwide impact. Meanwhile, TM Lee will focus on advancing the long-term product vision and leading greenfield development projects. This transition will allow him to refocus on foundational innovation while maintaining strategic continuity.

Additionally, Cedric Chan will be appointed Chief Technology Officer, responsible for leading CoinGecko's technical roadmap and infrastructure development. Ho Xingyi has been named Head of Product, transitioning from her role as Head of Growth.
