Nine Entertainment has unveiled the team leading its new streaming, television and radio division as it grapples with falling broadcasting revenue, a stagnant Stan subscriber base and tough competition for advertising dollars from rivals Netflix and Facebook.
Amanda Laing, who was installed as the head of a new streaming and broadcast division within Nine in April, said she wants to overhaul the way the media company commissions, makes and monetises shows.
