Albanese mulls NATO visit to meet Trump as tensions rise

Kananaskis, Canada | Anthony Albanese could meet Donald Trump within days after deciding to attend the NATO summit in The Hague next week, should it be possible for a meeting with the US president to be arranged.

A day after Albanese said Defence Minister Richard Marles would attend NATO on Australia’s behalf, the prime minister has announced he may go instead, citing the volatile state of the world.
