BlockBeats News, June 9th, Web3-native AI Network LazAI today announced that internationally renowned scholar Dr. Zehua Wang has officially joined the company as the Chief Scientist Advisor.
Dr. Wang currently serves as a core member of the Blockchain Research Center at the University of British Columbia (UBC) and an adjunct professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. He has long been devoted to the field of decentralized multi-agent system collaboration and security, with a research focus on the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and blockchain technology, particularly in areas such as Trusted Edge AI, blockchain and smart contract security, zero-knowledge proofs, among others. He is leading UBC's "Next-Generation Secure Collaborative IoT Systems" project, supported by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) Discovery Grant.
Dr. Wang has a strong interest in the Web3 field, focusing on applying cryptography, zero-knowledge proofs, and game theory to protocol design and innovation in Web3 applications. His past accomplishments include serving as the Chief Scientist of the RightMesh project, which leveraged blockchain technology to bridge the digital divide in Northern Canada, earning recognition from Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau. Since 2019, he has been responsible for designing and teaching the graduate-level blockchain technology course at UBC. Dr. Zehua Wang's joining will significantly enhance LazAI's cutting-edge research capabilities and technical leadership in the intersection of AI and Web3.
