BlockBeats News, on June 11, the Mayor of Los Angeles announced that the city is entering a state of emergency and that a curfew will be enforced in downtown Los Angeles.
“A curfew will be in effect from 8:00 PM tonight until 6:00 AM the following morning. The curfew is expected to last for several days. The curfew area in downtown spans one square mile.” (Jin10)
