BlockBeats reported on June 12 that Christine Kim, former Vice President of Research at Galaxy Digital, posted on the X platform highlighting the confusion surrounding the new organizational structure of the Ethereum Foundation. Tim Beiko, Barnabé Monnot, and Alex Stokes are juggling multiple roles—they are leading all R&D teams within the foundation, managing their own teams, and are tasked with responsibilities over the next 12 months for L1 and L2 scaling as well as user experience (UX) improvements.
Additionally, Christine raised doubts about the details in the organizational chart, including whether bolded names signify team leaders, the purpose of the highlighted sections, and whether Tim is responsible for protocol coordination and oversight of multiple projects. She also questioned the color grouping logic in the chart, such as why consensus mechanisms are grouped with account abstraction but not with stateless consensus, and why Testing is grouped with pandaops while Security remains ungrouped.
