BlockBeats reports that on June 12, NFT trading platform OpenSea announced that it will fully deprecate the OS1 version on June 16. Its new version, OS2, will no longer support features such as Deals, English auctions, testnet support, and shopping cart functionalities. The platform explained that these features are underutilized and that "trading negotiations" are incompatible with the ERC 721-C enforced royalty contracts.
Some users have expressed dissatisfaction, arguing that removing "Deals" could increase fraud risks. This feature, introduced in July 2023, allowed users to customize NFT exchange proposals. (Blockworks)
