BlockBeats reported on June 12 that community user @0xluke shared a guide on how to redeem funds after "Alby custodial wallet balances were transferred by the platform." The steps for reference include: filing an appeal with Alby custodial wallet's official customer support, setting up an Alby Hub account, creating a coinos wallet and linking it, checking the Transfer status, and transferring assets. If there is no Transfer option, users are advised to wait for a team response or resubmit the information.
Yesterday, SlowMist founder Yu Jian posted an update regarding the incident of "Alby custodial wallet balances being transferred by the platform." He mentioned, "Alby employs too many tricks. While the funds were indeed returned, the process of successfully withdrawing them was cumbersome (though I fully understand the mechanism for doing so). In the end, only $153 of the $191 was successfully withdrawn, with more than $30 lost in the process."
BlockBeats reminds users that the redemption method is for reference only. Pay attention to authorizations during on-chain operations to ensure asset safety.
