Australians will be able to make tax-deductible donations to aspiring summer and winter Olympians under a new scheme designed to provide financial support for low-income athletes.
The Australian Olympic Committee and the Australian Sports Foundation are working together to establish a revenue stream to direct funds to athletes in underfunded sports such as figure skating, canoe slalom and water polo.
