BlockBeats News, June 3rd, according to official sources, the first-season Sonic (S) airdrop will airdrop a total of 1.905 billion S tokens to users to incentivize their participation in the ecosystem. The airdrop will also reward participants of Opera historical events, Sonic Arcade users, and Shard NFT creators.
The first airdrop will be open for claiming six months after the launch of Sonic (around June 2025). Users can claim 25% of their allocation immediately, while the remaining 75% will be linearly released in the form of NFTs over a 270-day period. If users choose to claim the locked portion early, they will need to pay a certain percentage of token burning as a penalty, with the burning rate decreasing over time.
