「Silk Road」 Founder Ross Ulbricht Auctions Off Prison Items to Raise $1.8 Million Worth of Bitcoin

BlockBeats News, June 1st, According to The Block, the dark web marketplace "Silk Road" founder Ross Ulbricht's prison belongings auction has raised approximately 1.8 million US dollars in Bitcoin. The auction items include artwork created by Ulbricht in prison, personal items, and a prison ID. The prison ID, in particular, was sold for the highest bid of 11 BTC (approximately 1.1 million US dollars). Ulbricht stated that the auction was to begin a new chapter in his life.
