Prospective homebuyers across Australia are rushing to get pre-approved for a home loan following the Reserve Bank of Australia’s decision last week to cut its cash rate for the second time this year.
Pre-approvals through mortgage brokers jumped by 24 per cent in March compared to a year earlier according to Equifax, an analytics company that tracks credit and borrowing data.
