Affinity Equity hires from CPE amid leadership reset, offshore exits

Hong Kong-based Affinity Equity Partners has ruled off a new hire for its Sydney team, luring the deal maker from rival buyout firm CPE Capital.

Street Talk understands associate director Fred Macdonald has agreed to join Affinity after seven years at the John Haddock-run CPE. He’ll start in the role as vice president and report to Affinity county head, Mark Chudek, sources told this column on Sunday.
