The owners of Macarthur FC allege governing body Football Australia promised to pay them more than $3 million a year to help fund their entry into the A-League but coughed up just a third of that.
The group behind the south-west Sydney club is suing FA in the Federal Court of Australia, alleging misleading and deceptive conduct. Football Australia is yet to file a defence, but is contesting the case.
