Big Telstra shareholders want to see evidence the telecommunications group, which has been raising prices on mobile phone plans and axing jobs, is increasing returns on invested capital when executives front up next week.
Telstra has been trying to sell off non-core assets such as its IT services business to simplify its operations and reduce costs following a restructure of its struggling enterprise business that was announced last year.
