The US and EU in recent days exchanged negotiating documents for the first time outlining areas of discussion ranging from tariffs to digital trade and investment opportunities, The Financial Times reported, citing people familiar with the matter.
In a briefing note from Europe’s top trade official Sabine Weyand said the US is likely to retain tariffs on steel and car manufacturing as the Trump administration seeks to bolster domestic production.
