Elon Musk's xAI is joining forces with Palantir Technologies (PLTR, Financials) and TWG Global to push artificial intelligence deeper into the financial sector.
The goal is to bring AI tools to financial and insurance firms. TWG, led by Mark Walter and Thomas Tull, will run implementation efforts, working directly with company executives.
xAI will supply its large language models, known as Grok, and its Colossus supercomputer to help power the solutions.
This adds to a March venture where TWG and Palantir teamed up to target enterprise AI needs. The companies expect more partners to join now that xAI is involved.
Across the industry, firms are adopting AI to improve services and gain an edge. This latest deal reflects that broader trend.
It follows a separate partnership from March, where xAI and Nvidia (NVDA, Financials) joined a Microsoft (MSFT, Financials)-backed group to grow AI infrastructure in the U.S.
The partnership could influence how AI is used in areas like risk modeling and wealth management, moving beyond hype to execution.
