Zeekr (NYSE: ZK) officially launched the Zeekr 007 GT on Tuesday, its second shooting brake-style model, in an attempt to solidify its position in the segment.
The Zeekr 007 GT is available in three variants with starting prices of RMB 202,900 ($27,740), RMB 222,900 and RMB 232,900 respectively.
Zeekr is offering a limited-time incentive for the model, with customers who pay RMB 5,000 to order the model on or before May 31 getting RMB 8,000 off their final payment.
Deliveries of the five-seater in China are expected to begin on April 20.
The Zeekr 007 GT will be available on the global markets, rebranded as the Zeekr 7 GT in overseas markets.
The model is based on the Zeekr 007 electric sedan and is Zeekr's second shooting brake model after the Zeekr 001.
The Zeekr 001, initially launched on April 15, 2021, is Zeekr's first model, and the earliest shooting brake-style model launched by a new Chinese car-making brand.
The Zeekr 001 is currently priced at a higher starting price of RMB 259,000 in China. Zeekr calls the Zeekr 001 a luxury shooting brake model, while the Zeekr 007 GT is called a technology shooting brake model.
The Zeekr 007 GT measures 4,864 mm in length, 1,900 mm in width and 1,460 / 1,445 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,925 mm.
For comparison, the 2025 Zeekr 001 shooting brake currently on sale measures 4,977 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width and 1,545 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 3,005 mm.
The two lower-priced variants of the Zeekr 007 GT are single-motor models with a peak motor power of 310 kW and peak torque of 440 Nm. They can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.2-5.3 seconds.
The dual-motor variant has two motors with a combined peak power of 475 kW and peak torque of 710 Nm and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds.
The Zeekr 007 GT uses lithium ternary batteries from CATL, as well as its own Golden Battery based on lithium iron phosphate (LFP) chemistry.
The 75 kWh LFP battery provides a CLTC range of 650 km. The longer-range 100-kWh nickel cobalt manganese (NCM) battery pack provides a CLTC range of 825 km.
The LFP battery, developed by Zeekr engineers, has the world's fastest charging speed, charging the vehicle from 10 percent to 80 percent in just 10.5 minutes, according to the company.
The Zeekr 007 GT is built on an 800-volt high-voltage platform and comes standard with LiDAR.
The Zeekr 001 has been one of Zeekr's main sellers since its launch, with 99,984 units delivered in 2024, contributing 45.01 percent of the 222,123 Zeekr units delivered in the year, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.
While the Zeekr 007 GT and Zeekr 001 have similar design styling, Zeekr wants them to target different customer segments.
The Zeekr 001 is a luxury shooting brake coupe that focuses more on quality tone, while the Zeekr 007 GT is a shooting brake coupe that focuses more on tech fashion, according to the company.
