Jabil (JBL), Compal Electronics, and Wiwynn are preparing revised bids for Advanced Micro Devices' (AMD) AI server assembly assets in Texas and New Jersey, Bloomberg reported Tuesday, citing unnamed people familiar with the matter.

Inventec and Pegatron have reportedly withdrawn from the bidding process, the sources said.

AMD has asked for updated offers to be submitted in the coming days and aims to close the deal by the end of Q2, with the transaction estimated at $3 billion to $4 billion, according to the report.

One source said the facilities are attractive to bidders as they have 1,500 skilled workers.

Talks are ongoing, and there is no certainty a deal will be reached, the report added.

AMD, Jabil, Compal Electronics, and Wiwynn did not immediately respond to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
