BlockBeats News, April 4th: The hybrid Layer2 project BOB (Build on Bitcoin) announced that it has successfully integrated the cross-chain interoperability protocol deBridge. BOB will become the first Bitcoin Layer2 supported by deBridge.
deBridge is a secure interoperability layer for Web3, supporting decentralized transfer of arbitrary messages and value across different blockchains.
Through this integration, a connection has been established between the ecosystem of BOB and that of more than 20 EVM and non-EVM chains (such as Solana, Berachain, Hyperliquid, Sonic, etc.) through deBridge. Users can freely and seamlessly cross-chain and transform assets and data from these chains via deBridge. This will unlock a new liquidity route for Bitcoin DeFi, break down the barriers between the Bitcoin ecosystem and other public chains, and signify an important step for the Bitcoin network in building an interoperable ecosystem.
