BlockBeats News, April 2nd, U.S. financial giant Fidelity Investments on Thursday launched a retirement plan that allows direct investment in cryptocurrency, opening up a new channel for investors to allocate digital assets.
According to information on the Fidelity website, this cryptocurrency IRA (Individual Retirement Account) product is open to all U.S. citizens aged 18 and older, supporting three digital assets: Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Litecoin (LTC). All cryptocurrency assets will be held in cold storage by Fidelity and no management fees will be charged. Investors can choose from three account types: Roth IRA, Traditional IRA, or Rollover IRA.
